We take great pride in our work and want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. We do accept returns, but there are some requirements. We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your bookmark must be in the same condition that you received it, clean and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order # listed on your order confirmation or packing slip. We do not accept returns on custom bookmarks.

  • To start a return, you can contact us at hello@novelcorners.com AND include your order number in your email.
  • We’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • Once we receive your return, you will be contacted within 7 business days. All items will be inspected before an exchange or store credit is issued.
  • The return will be for the purchase price of the product only. Shipping and/or delivery costs will not be refunded, reimbursed or part of the store credit.
  • Please note, all custom, pre-orders and clearance items are final. Returns are not accepted for these items.

We want you to be happy so we always try to work with you if you have a problem with your bookmark. We know your situation might be unique so please feel free to contact us for any return/exchange question at hello@novelcorners.com.


Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order right away after delivery and contact us immediately if the bookmark is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please keep all packaging and take photos as we will request to see exactly what damage has occurred. In most cases, you will be required to return the items (at our cost) to receive a full refund. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom products. These include personalized bookmarks and custom bookmarks. Please get in touch at hello@novelcorners.com if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance, sale items or gift cards. Items purchased with a promo code can be returned.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, you can continue to make a separate purchase for the new item.


Receiving Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
